SABA-SC Book Club
SABA-SC members are invited to join our book club!
We’ll meet quarterly, so that you have plenty of time to read the books in between meetings.
You’re welcome to attend even if you haven’t finished the book, as long as you don’t mind spoilers.

How does this work?

The book club is open to SABA-SC members. We’ll pick a book, you read the book before the scheduled meeting, we meet and discuss it while enjoying snacks and drinks, and we pick a book for the next meeting.
Do I have to finish the book?

No, as long as you don’t mind being exposed to spoilers for the whole book during the meeting/discussion.
Do I have to be a SABA-SC member to participate?

Yes. the book club meetings are currently only open to SABA-SC members.
If you’d like to bring a non-SABA-SC member friend, contact socalsaba@gmail.com for permission.

Bringing snacks and/or drinks to share is encouraged, but not required. Bringing a copy of the book may be helpful if you want to share particular quotes or passages, but also not required.
