SABA-SC awards at least one $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to South Asian law students local to Southern California. Applications open every September and are awarded at the annual Mentorship Program Reception in October.

SABA-SC Scholarships will be awarded based on academic accomplishments as well as engagement with and potential contribution to the South Asian community.

Applicants must have completed one year of law school (part-time and full-time students eligible), and be a SABA member to apply. Scholarship recipients must attend SABA-SC’s Annual Mentorship Reception to receive their Scholarships. SABA-SC Scholars must actively participate in SABA-SC for the term of the Scholarship by, at a minimum, volunteering at SABA-SC’s annual banquet as well as participating in and promoting SABA-SC events.
