Our community partner, the South Asian Network (SAN) invites SABA-SC members to a screening and Q&A with the filmmakers of “Where the Light Enters You”.
The 35 minute documentary follows Aney, an American healthcare worker, as she returns to rural India during COVID-19 to reconnect with her parents’ homeland. Over five years, she forms a bond with a young girl, Farida, exploring challenges of creating change in communities facing deep-rooted health and gender inequities. Directed by Matt Alesevich and Hemal Trivedi, it’s a moving story of healing, resilience, and human connection.
